Climax Cosign: Tommie Battle AKA BoneyStarks

Follow Tommie Battle on Twitter – BoneyStarks.

I had the pleasure to meet my friend Tommie Battle AKA BoneyStarks in 2004 during his brief visit to Orlando. Even back then, I knew this dude was going to be doin’ big things.

More amazing photography can be found here: BoneyStarks Flickr

Somewhat of a NT legend, Tommie (or MyTSharp to the community) is now shooting photos for amazing concerts (and other amazing events), tweeting until he can’t tweet no more (Seriously, he’s hilarious, follow him – Thank Me Later).

Check out Tommie’s Online Podcast Series, The Kirkout Hour and enjoy!

On top of the photography, The Black Hey Zeus (another one of his many aliases) has a knack for putting together some great 60-90 minute Hip-Hop/R&B online podcasts that are definitely worth checking out. His latest is a tribute to the mighty MF Doom (You can download it: Here)that will be getting lots of burn on the iPod and in the car.

It’s an honor to have met Tommie and to have remained friends (whether if only through the powers of the Internet) is an amazing tell of the modern ways of technology. His work is inspiring and his grind is completely motivating.

Check out his photography, follow him on Twitter and be sure to check out his latest MF Doom “Kirkout Hour.” If you’re not impressed…maybe this isn’t for you.

Artwork Climax: Os Gemeos x Futura: “Gigante” NYC

What can we do to make the City realize how talented and graphically inclined our generation is and allow for us to get involved in more city art projects?

Those are questions that I don’t see being answered any time soon. Os Gemeos and Futura currently completed their enormous piece, “Gigante” on a building at a Public School in the Chelsea area in New York. Interested in doing something like this in Orlando and seeing many more pictures of the “Gigante” piece? Continue reading after the jump!

What artist and liquor company do you want to see do a collaboration?

Want to enjoy your beer with a little Climax Style? Check out these new Dos Equis bottles designed by Kaws! Not sure of the availability of the bottles, but I wouldn’t be mad if some of my favorite breweries started collaborating with some of my favorite artists.
