The newest video showing Nike’s upcoming Power Laces. In this clip, the lacing system created by Blake Bevin shows finally how this will work. I am not a big fan of this right now, but it may be the future of shoe technology with a censor in the heel that triggers the system that lies without the sole of the shoes.

I’ve always been intrigued by sneakers. Since the day I stepped out onto the basketball court as an adolescent and got schooled onto what an “Air Jordan” and a “Kamikaze” and “Shaqnosis” were, it’s been a wrap for this guy.

I’m older now, however. A bit more refined. A touch of a little class has came in somewhere along the way and been added on top of the ruggedness. There’s always a part of me that will LOVE a crazy-colored Air Force 1 or an amazing new Nike signature basketball shoe (i.e. Lebron’s line is one of the best…ever!) yet in presenting myself to the world, the fact is, my tastes have grown up and in return my footwear choices are a bit more “mature.”

What causes this change?

Age? Friends? Society? Probably a mix of all, it’s tough to say. In five years from now, the norm at an office job may be a throwback jersey and a fitted (a bit extreme, I know), nobody will know. All we can do is to work hard, enjoy what were doing and make the best out of our situation, right? Make it better and always dress for success and as if it were to be your very last outfit and pair of shoes.

H&M present us with their Men’s 2010 Fall/Winter Video Lookbook. Though I’m not too crazy on the direction of the lookbook or the way it was styled, there are a few key pieces that I’m really feeling in the line. One being the simple grey suit pictured above. With Orlando being lucky enough to have two of their stores in the area; check out the video and decide if H&M is the right place for you.

With the announcement of the opening of a New York chapter, The Hundreds collaborate with one of the most respected street brands, SSUR on two different t-shirts. It seems like The Hundreds is stepping up their graphics with the new store opening and I’m all for it. For more images…
