The Norton Museum, a West Palm Beach staple, re-opened their doors after a complete revamp to the original 78 year-old structure. The new space is astonishing and gigantic! With this expansion and refreshed curation, the Norton just leveled up to the status of ‘artistic staple’ in the South Florida community, nudging its way next to the PAMM or Frost in Miami.
We were SO excited to see Nina Chanel Abney’s Neon as the featured opening exhibition for the grand re-opening! This commission speaks volumes and affirms that West Palm Beach (and local community overall) is ready to embrace the raw, diverse, underground, even controversial interpretations that reflect the reality of our evolving world.
